Garpiel Expands Leadership to Integrate Personal Growth Into Our Processes

As I write this letter, we are celebrating our 20th year in business. A lot has changed since the company was started with a riding lawn mower, an old snowmobile trailer my grandfather rebuilt for me and a 1980 Ford Bronco.

One of the big changes I made in the last year was implementing a role I call “integrator.” An integrator is an individual who can take the CEO or president’s ideas and goals and create the systems and processes to bring them to life.

In November of 2016, I promoted Matthew DeVries to Vice President of Garpiel Group, LLC, and directed him to take on the role of integrator. For Matthew, the change was mostly in title. He was already working on implementing processes and systems for Garpiel. Thus far, Matthew’s transition into his new role has been a fantastic addition to our leadership team. But it doesn’t just benefit our team. Matthew’s new role also benefits our clients in several ways.

First, our goal at Garpiel is to make our company a place where team members can ascend through the ranks. For me personally, all this means I have realized my dream of making Garpiel into a place that provides opportunities for members of our team to grow and achieve their goals.
