Experienced Landscape Foreman – This is not an entry-level landscaping role. We’re seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Leader who can confidently lead crews, manage job sites, and maintain high standards from start to finish. The ideal candidate has hands-on landscaping experience, can read designs and blueprints, operate trucks and equipment, communicate with clients, and oversee projects safely and efficiently in all outdoor conditions. A Michigan Chauffeur’s License is required, along with strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to lead by example while delivering quality work on every job.
Truck Driver Class A CDL – The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting as well as loading and unloading material and equipment.
2nd Shift Shop Assistant – The 2nd Shift Shop Assistant role is designed to support the lead mechanic in the maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of vehicles and machinery.
Irrigation Technician – The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the design and installation of irrigation systems for both residential and commercial. In addition, they inspect, audit, adjust and repair the systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency and conserve water.
Flower Bed Maintenance – Your role is crucial in enhancing the visual appeal of outdoor landscapes through the thoughtful planting, care, and upkeep of flower beds. You will be responsible for contributing to the creation of vibrant and well-maintained floral displays in various settings, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Tree & Shrub Trimmer – As a Shrub Trimmer at Garpiel Group, your primary responsibility is to enhance the visual appeal and health of outdoor landscapes by expertly trimming and shaping shrubs and bushes. This role involves working in various outdoor environments, such as residential and commercial properties. You must be able to safely operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including hedge trimmers, pruning shears, and other landscaping tools.
Fertilizer Technician – We’re hiring a Fertilizer Technician and will train and certify the right candidate, no experience required. This outdoor role involves applying fertilizer and weed control, identifying turf issues, operating equipment, and interacting with clients. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs in varying outdoor conditions. Pay is based on experience, with opportunities to earn additional certifications.
Lawn Maintenance – Responsible for the care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a business, building, or home. Must be able to mow lawn either by hand or using a walk behind lawnmower, trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls, trim shrubs and pull weeds, rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
Landscape Crew Member– The duties of a landscape professional include planting turf, bushes, shrubs, trees, and flowers. In addition, you will install walkways, patios, decks, and other various outdoor living spaces. Must be able to use several types of power or hand tools such as chain saws, lawn mowers, tractors, clippers and trimmers.
