Garpiel Group performs all facets of its work based on five core values: quality, integrity, trustworthy, delivery and commitment. These core values are instrumental in how we hire team members. When presenting our services to a potential client, our core values are the foundation of the sale and why a client chooses our company over a competitor. Beyond quality and delivery, a client expects work to be performed with integrity.
We continually teach our team to be proactive, rather than reactive. Since our clients depend on quality delivery of service, it is our responsibility to have integrity and open, honest communication with them.
We stand behind the work we perform and it all goes back to hiring the right people. When emphasizing the importance of delivery to our team, we touch on providing our clients the full maintenance experience. It isn’t uncommon for a team member to bring a client’s trash cans up to the house from the edge of the driveway or find another way to go the “extra mile” in delivering a complete, quality service.
We are proud of the team we have in place and will continue to grow through the practice of living our core values. Read more about our Leadership Team below.
In 1997, Rob Garpiel started Garpiel Landscaping, which later became known as Garpiel Group. In the beginning, Rob knew he enjoyed being outside, cutting grass and making the outdoors look better. A natural entrepreneur, Rob quickly found joy in controlling his own destiny. The next success was growing the business large enough to hire his brothers, Matt, then 17, and Joe, then 13. The three realized the blessing of creating a family business that fulfilled a need.
Today, Rob’s personal vision is to help team members achieve their dreams and goals. His greatest satisfaction with Garpiel Group, thus far, has been watching team members flourish as they live the company’s vision, mission and core values. When not at work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane, and his two sons, Hunter and Jacob, as well as their dachshund, Harley. His family enjoys spending time near Lake Huron in the summer and in sunny Florida whenever they can get away.
